Preschool News Week of April 3-7

What We've Been Learning:

Whole Group Learning:

Creative Curriculum: Bounce and Just Like Josh Gibson. We are continuing our ball study with an activity in which we experimented bouncing a beach ball.  We also discussed baseball vocabulary and comprehension questions.

Read it Again: Clifford for President.  The goals for this story are to recognize the difference between letters and words, to understand and use words for the names of unfamiliar actions (compete and pledge), to produce a word starting with a specific first sound, and to produce a fictional story that has a clear beginning, middle and end on how they would win an election if they ran for president.

April 11: Free Vision Screening: This opportunity is advantageous for you to have your child participate in as this will fill the requirement for students entering kindergarten.  Please return the completed vision screening form as soon as possible.
