Preschool News Week of February 27-March 3

What We've Been Learning:

Whole Group Learning:

Read it Again: A Color of His Own.  Our learning goals for this story are: to understand and use new words describing aspects of books (illustrator, author, cover and title page) and print (word, letter, spell, read, write), to understand and use words which describe things and actions (adjectives and adverbs), to produce words that share a rhyming pattern, and to produce a personal story that has a clear beginning, middle and end.

Creative Curriculum: Have a Ball.  We are continuing our ball study and are exploring what we want to learn about balls.  We have had some great discussions regarding characteristics of different types of balls.  We will be welcoming some very special guest speakers in the next few weeks to share with us their expertise on balls.  Very excited for this upcoming opportunity!
