Preschool News Week of Feb. 6-10

What We've Been Learning:

Whole Group Learning:

Read it Again: Giggle, Giggle Quack.  The objectives for our story are to understand and use new words describing aspects of books and print, to talk about the meaning of new words, includinghow words can have more than one meaning (an eye on, settle in, in charge), to identify when two words share the same first sound, and to produce a fictional story that has a setting and characters.

Creative Curriculum:  Button, Button, Who's Got the Button? and The Mitten.  We have discussed the many ways we fasten our clothes and how we can make our clothes.

Valentine Party:  Preschool will hold a Valentine card exchange on Tuesday, February 14.  If you choose to participate, please bring cards for every student in our class.  Please do not write classmates names on cards, only write your student's name in the "from" space.  This will help in ease of handing them out. The morning class has 21 students and the afternoon class now has 18 students.

Please enjoy pictures of our learning:
